Transport Planner

Description

• Review existing railway policies, manuals, and guidelines to develop transportation plans that improve efficiency, reduce congestion, and enhance sustainability.
• Draft and update railway policies, manuals, guidelines, and transport planning methodologies.
• Conduct transport planning, model split assessment, and parking ECS calculations for masterplan and station development.
• Perform transport modelling, traffic simulation, and traffic data assessment for railway stations and transit‑oriented development.
• Review station master plans, concept/tender/GFC drawings, and architecture/transport planning drawings for compliance with transport planning standards.
• Carry out R&D work related to station redevelopment and other client‑assigned transport planning research.

• Apply knowledge of railway and station development guidelines (MSSR, NBC, MOHUA, UTTIPEC, IS codes) and relevant state/local regulations.
• Proficient with planning tools such as MS Project, VISM, Cube, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and transport modelling software.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑master’s experience in Architecture or a related field.
• Completed at least 2–3 rail, metro, or airport projects.
• Strong understanding of transport planning guidelines and regulations.
