Reads technical drawings, conducts measurements and inspections, and ensures alignment with required tolerances and specifications
Training and mentoring of new hires into department.
Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards.
Performs stacking and assembly of silicon steel sheets for transformer cores, including placement of oil channels and insulation, and operates overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling
Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.].
Assists in developing and maintaining technical documentation for core stacking and assembly procedures

Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community colleges
Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the medium to large transformer core stacking process.
High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience.
Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Fork Truck License and a Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working in heights.
Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.
