Supporting business budgeting and forecasting, including cash flow
Ensuring correct revenue and cost allocation across works
Preparation of information and liaising with Group Finance and external auditors as required
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Business partnering with overhead functions to support management of cost base
Variance analysis of actual performance including cost reconciliations and analysis of profit variances
Production of Balance Sheet reconciliations, along with identification of and dealing with potential issues
Ad-hoc financial analysis to support business strategy and performance

Knowledge of a relevant accounting system, SAP preferred but not critical
Previous management accountancy experience in a similar environment, including working with profit centres and producing variance analyses
Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of accounting practices and reporting requirements, experience of working with IFRS15 would be of distinct advantage
Experience of business partnering
