-Work with InPwr Inc. management to estimate field change order work. -Complete Equipment Training -Complete all Safety Certifications -Operate two- (2) handed tools/ equipment cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jack hammers. -Assist InPwr Inc. management and customer with design changes to the original scope of work. -Operate equipment, trenchers, backhoe, lift in safe manner. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. -Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmission. -Maintain up to date as-built drawings and assist CAD department with design changes. -Work on energized circuits and equipment with company management approval as outlined in Health and Safety Program. -Responsible for securing tools and materials from storage areas to complete their assigned tasks. -Positively identify color of wires. -Reads and interprets maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions. -Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts (electrical or gas powered). -Track and document change order and time & material work. -Bend conduit by hand with hand benders. -Climb ladders (all types). -Maintain flexible approach to onsite design changes -Completing overhead work for full-day assignments. -Develop, build, and maintain exceptional customer relationships through dedication, efficiency, and determination.
Job Requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year (heat, cold, rain, and snow). Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns). Job requires employees to have personal tools with them at all times (waist tool belt as worn- weighs approximately 30 lbs.). Work from all types of ladders (step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders and all sizes of extension ladders and carry and relocate up to 12’ step ladder by oneself.) -Detail and goal oriented -Data, fire alarm and control familiarity are a plus -Candidates must have the ability to travel within a 60 mile radius of the Naples, FL office location. -Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels of building even if the only means of access is by OSHA approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use. -At least 18 years or older. -Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead. -Must have ability to adapt to various working environments and make decisions based on industry best practices. -High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. -Strong safety record -Comprehends reading and drawing prints and schematics. -Understand materials specific to various work environments for sight specific installations. -Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical theory. -Excellent written and oral communication skills with a willingness to adapt to any situation. -Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment. -Possess good vision (normal or corrected). -Flexible to be able to work customer directed schedule when needed. -Must use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches. -Ability to effectively read, write, and speak English is required. -Lift 51 pounds. -Familiarity with electrical systems from 120/240 single phase through 480v three phase. -Practices and comprehends safe work procedures per Company policy. -Possess adaptive electrical construction skillset -Complete OSHA 30 -Proficient skills in reading project drawings, submittals, and layout. -Familiarity with technology and a willingness to learn and adapt to various ways of communicating with the customer -Troubleshooting Skills
