The position requires a self‑starting attitude, prioritizing project documentation while staying within budgeted time, and may involve supervising design efforts, delegating tasks, and organizing project documentation such as quotes, drawing registers, correspondence, requisitions, and schedules.
Key duties include interpreting customer specifications, creating mechanical and electrical system models, developing layouts and detailed design drawings, drafting multi‑view drawings of parts and assemblies, ensuring the accuracy of drawings, BOMs, and engineering records, coordinating manufacturer submittals, analyzing compliance with standards, reviewing material and machining details, and communicating design changes while adhering to health and safety procedures.
Albireo Energy is seeking a dedicated systems designer to produce highly detailed installation diagrams for data center automation and monitoring systems, covering mechanical cooling, electrical metering, automation P&ID, communication, low‑voltage, and networking diagrams. The role also involves creating conceptual drawings to support solutions architecture and the sales team.

Required qualifications include at least two years of Autodesk Inventor experience (or equivalent training), knowledge of drafting and drawing standards, electrical/mechanical aptitude, strong communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Preferred qualifications are a BS in Mechanical/Electrical Technology or Engineering, extensive AutoCAD Mechanical/Electrical experience, and ten or more years of automation system design experience.
