The Boiler Service Technician – Level 2 position is based in Savannah, GA and is a full‑time, day‑shift role requiring a two‑year degree in HVAC or a related field. The technician will service, maintain, and repair hot water and steam boiler systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance for customers.
Qualifications include an associate degree in HVAC, at least three years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, Universal EPA certification, and basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Strong communication, basic math, and reasoning abilities are also required.
The position demands heavy physical activity, such as frequent stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 115 lb, as well as constant standing, walking, and gripping. Workers must meet vision standards and wear required personal protective equipment.
The work environment involves outdoor settings, mechanical rooms, and extreme weather conditions, with exposure to moving parts, high noise levels, fumes, electrical hazards, and occasional toxic chemicals.
