Maintains daily diary and field records of material and quantities used.
Participates in meetings to discuss construction details and resolves issues with contractors and other project stakeholders.
Under supervision, coordinates and performs observation of water/wastewater treatment plants, public works, water/wastewater utility lines, street, highway, bridge, building components, infrastructure and tract right of way on construction projects according to the specific areas of expertise of the inspector; performs related duties as required.
Conducts on-site observations of construction installations, including but not limited to materials, grade elevations, underground facilities, construction safety precautions, minor concrete
Assists in coordinating materials testing. Identifies on-site project problems.
Investigates citizen complaints related to encroachment and/or grading violations.
