The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of extraordinary gas transmission and distribution projects. This includes planning, estimating, permitting, scheduling, risk analysis, material procurement, and managing agreements for land and engineering services. The role also prepares projects for the bid process, assists with contractor selection, monitors field construction, and handles in‑service facilitation and project close‑out.
Core responsibilities include establishing scope, schedule, and cost baselines, and managing changes to measure progress against plans. The manager ensures safe, efficient, high‑quality construction that complies with all policies, practices, and standards. Collaboration with project managers, specialists, and contract construction inspectors is essential to meet customer expectations and budget requirements.
Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent experience, with at least five years managing construction projects. Candidates must have three to six years working with pipeline construction contractors and project budgets, as well as knowledge of gas system design, construction contracts, and applicable local, state, and federal codes. Proficiency with construction scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and operations support systems such as WMS is also required.
Preferred qualifications include a PMP certification and a valid state driver’s license. Physical demands may require work outside normal hours to support emergency operations. The position requires U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
The salary range for this position is $96,600 to $144,900, dependent on experience, skills, and internal equity. The posting runs from January 19, 2026, to February 2, 2026.
