The Tax Manager will join a fast‑moving finance team within an agile business, reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting & Tax and working closely with the CFO and senior management. The role’s primary aim is to manage and improve tax processes, ensure compliance obligations are met and act as a trusted business partner across the organisation.
The position covers a broad scope of tax and transfer‑pricing activities, supporting the implementation of Rolls‑Royce’s Tax Risk Management Strategy and contributing to group reporting, provisioning and financial statement disclosures.
Candidates must be a qualified chartered tax accountant (CTA) or chartered accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA) with post‑qualification experience in a tax manager role, and possess strong UK and international tax technical knowledge. Preferred experience includes multi‑GAAP accounting, US tax regulations, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and familiarity with systems such as Sun Systems, Hyperion or Salesforce.
Rolls‑Royce offers a safety‑first environment, a culture that encourages integrity, accountability and continuous learning, and opportunities to develop as a mid‑career professional while contributing to a high‑performing, resilient future.
