What you would be doing

- You will be responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
- You will set up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
- You will load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck
- You will safely operate drill equipment on jobsite which may include but not limited to the following: Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer
- You will restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Duties outlined in this position will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low. The employee will be standing, walking, climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding or stooping while on shift.
- You will develop and maintain a bore schedule
- May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed.
- You will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis – JSA prior to starting construction

- Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- You are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call
- Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
- Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes.
- You are experienced with drilling equipment and understand their capabilities and limitations
- Must have previous construction or utility construction experience – Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not limited to: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and/or far as needed. Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens. Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces. Remote work may be required; long driving and sitting will be required. The noise level in the work environment for this position is moderate.

- May be required to travel in state or overnight as necessary to meet business and job requirements.
- You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance

- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- You may able to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions
- You are able to maintain a safe work environment - You are able to work in all weather conditions
- You are able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities
- Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.

- You may have experience with drill set up and design processes
