The role involves managing large projects or processes with limited oversight, coaching and delegating work to junior professionals, and tackling difficult, complex problems.
You will lead the project team, define the execution approach, and oversee handover, planning, monitoring and control of internal and external resources to meet project goals. Responsibilities include organizing teams, assigning responsibilities, developing schedules, determining resource needs, and reporting on cost, timing and staffing while ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards such as ISO.
The job requires coordinating with engineering, supply chain and feeder factories to place orders, track material procurement, stage inspections, shipments, and milestone billings, as well as managing installation, testing, commissioning, approvals for extensions or additional costs, and final handover, as‑built documentation and commercial closure.
You must ensure adherence to applicable regulations, procedures and guidelines, and embody Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
Candidates should hold an electrical engineering degree with 10‑15 years of experience in project execution services, preferably in GIS, substation or high‑voltage equipment projects, and have strong leadership, stakeholder‑management and communication skills. Experience with Saudi Arabian or Middle East customers is a plus, and the ability to work under pressure to deliver on time, cost and quality is essential.
The company fosters a collaborative, innovative environment where employees can work on sustainability solutions, smart‑city infrastructure and other cutting‑edge projects, supporting career growth and the freedom to explore new horizons.
