The specialist will provide financial management, acquisition strategy development, and procurement oversight for Department of State initiatives. Working closely with program managers, Contracting Officers, CORs, and leadership, the incumbent will ensure efficient execution of procurement activities, optimal use of fiscal resources, and compliance with Federal acquisition policies.
Key responsibilities include serving as a subject‑matter expert on procurement policies, drafting acquisition packages, evaluating proposals, coordinating contract execution, advising on modifications and funding actions, and presenting briefings to senior management.
Guidehouse is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist within its Management Consulting practice. The role requires up to 10% travel and an active Secret security clearance.
Candidates must hold a current active Secret clearance, have at least five years of recent federal contract support experience, and possess direct experience with federal acquisition processes and document development such as statements of work and market research.
A bachelor’s degree, experience with Department of State acquisition programs, and FAC‑C or equivalent certification are preferred but not mandatory.
The position offers a salary range of $98,000 to $163,000, determined by skill set, experience, certifications, and other business factors.
