- Maintain knowledge of all current SOPs.
- Conduct CLIA waived tests and moderate/high complexity testing on various samples.
- Perform pre-analytical tasks including receipt, qualification, and preparation of samples.
- Utilize automated/semi-automated methods with internal support systems.
- Perform laboratory testing assigned to the department.
- Maintain departmental supplies within established inventory levels.
- Report unusual test results promptly to appropriate management.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and technical problems, resolving them appropriately.
- Prepare and maintain reports/records and perform computer data entry.
- Communicate effectively with department and laboratory personnel.
- Operate equipment according to established protocols and quality control limits.

- Strong communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline.
- Proficiency in chemistry, lab equipment, CLIA procedures, biology, and medical testing.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- 0-1 years of laboratory experience in academic or industry settings.
