Interprets schematic work order drawings to determine job specifications and installation needs. Orders and/or obtains required equipment. Effects problem solving where appropriate.
Interacts with ATS (Advanced Technical Support) as needed. May install appropriate inside wire/cable (such as Cat 6E, Coaxial cable).
Installs, maintains, and repairs outside and inside fiber equipment/facilities including inside wiring and fiber jumpers at the distribution hub. Activates the ONT.
Utilizes various test equipment to analyze equipment trouble and takes appropriate maintenance action.

Must be available to work tours as scheduled including nights, weekends, and holidays and for callouts and/or overtime as required.
Where pole climbing is required, must complete pole climbing certification, for which an individual cannot exceed 275 lbs., fully clothed and with proper footwear.
Ability to distinguish audible tones/levels and good color vision.
Ability to recommend and refer voice, data and video products/services.

Climbing poles and ladders; frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds; pushing, reaching, bending, and stooping; manual dexterity; good sense of balance; ability to sit or stand for long periods and ability to work in confined spaces.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; CDL preferred.
Not restricted to daylight hours. May require more specialized drivers’ license based on State Laws and Regulations.
