Senior Finance Analyst- General Accounting

Description

The Senior Finance Analyst – General Accounting position is based on‑site in Gurugram and supports month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end activities while collaborating with internal customers and vendors across the organization.

• Perform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close procedures.
• Conduct quarterly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis.
• Analyze monthly expense variances.
• Consolidate inter‑company transactions, including foreign currency accounting, and reconcile accounts.
• Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and internal policies.
• Manage fixed assets and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Interface with country finance teams and enforce SOX and firm policy compliance.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors for quarterly and year‑end audits.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, process‑improvement initiatives, and system implementations.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a degree in Accounting or a relevant professional qualification and have several years of GL, AP and AR experience in a multinational setting. Strong analytical skills, the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and the capability to work both independently and as a team player are essential.

• Experience with US GAAP and large‑scale ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft) preferred.
