In this capacity you will shape the group’s strategy, oversee daily operations and plan resources to meet forecasted tenders and projects. You will also be responsible for competence development, risk analysis and acting as a sounding board for the organisation.
Your work will influence key performance indicators such as on‑time delivery, first‑pass yield and productivity, while ensuring the department meets its financial budget and complies with Hitachi Energy’s health, safety and integrity standards. You will coordinate with the global service organisation and the HVDC Service team in India for care orders, site support and warranty services.
People leadership is a core element of the role; you will recruit, assess and set targets for a team of at least ten engineers, identify development needs, implement succession plans and foster intercultural collaboration.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, has three or more years of line‑manager or team‑leader experience, and possesses knowledge of HVDC, PQSS or substation systems. Strong English communication, leadership and teamwork skills are required.
