Responsible for supporting the Senior Construction Assurance Manager in undertaking Constructability Assurance, taking a risk-based approach.
Decision Quality - Gathering and synthesising information, identifying options and applying sound judgement based on logic and reason to propose options to the CAM and / or Senior Project Manager using key facts and data.
Responsible for supporting the functional teams in assuring that the works are adhering to U&A’s, Environmental Minimum Requirements and Code of Construction Practice requirements.
Supporting HS2 Project Managers by providing specialist advice and expertise at all stages of the construction process for help in administering the contract.
Responsible for supporting the NEC3 Project Manager in discharging their duties under the Contract.
Responsible for supporting the NEC3 Supervisor in discharging their duties under the Contract.
Co-ordinating and undertaking safety tours and other site based HS2 safety practices.

Problem Solving – the ability to identify problems and review related information to assist in the development and evaluation of options and the implementation of solutions, including the ability to manage and plan workstreams, considering the competing demands of stakeholders, cost, time and quality.
Understanding of construction planning and ability to follow and monitor progress against a project programme.
Building Relationships – ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to resolve emergent risk situations.
Construction experience of large-scale Civil Engineering projects including earthworks, bridges and structures construction and ground engineering
Knowledge and experience of site-based processes and procedures for health, safety and environmental management
Knowledge of UK construction regulations including Construction Design Management (CDM) and Construction Safety Management requirements
Degree level qualification in civil engineering, construction or building science or the equivalent experience.
