The role of the Quantity Surveyor is to play an active supporting part in the various commercial activities associated with a project and in conformity with company procedures as laid down from time to time.
Contribution to the analysis of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers tender returns.
Carry out building work take-offs, measurement and scheduling exercises and preparation of bills of quantities for the procurement and sub-letting processes.
Provide support to the Project Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Quantity Surveyor.
Preparation, co-ordination, and processing labour only payments.
Compliance with and assistance in helping promote the Health and Safety policy.
Assistance with the procurement of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers.
Subject to the prior approval of the Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor and in accordance with company contractual arrangements, authorise payments in respect of interim and final applications for payment from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers.
