The Asset Renewal Project Manager may act as Client's primary representative on a project, establishes standards for meeting minutes, records, etc., and coordinates design and pre-construction services with other Client divisions and Jurisdictions Having Authority (JHA’s) (Planning, FAA, TSA, AQMD, SHPO, EPA, LAUSD, LAFD, BOE, LAPD, etc.) as appropriate. Coordinates messaging plan, notices, contingency planning and other tasks as needed.
The Asset Renewal Project Manager reports to the Asset Renewal Program Manager and is responsible for managing the development and implementation of work packages and Task Orders. This individual also provides direction and input on projects from the design development stage through construction. The characteristic of the candidate is a well-rounded individual who has managed pre-construction and construction services in a large airport environment, with an emphasis and understanding of MEP systems. The ability to lead a collaboration of stakeholders, designers and contractors will be critical to the program’s success. The Asset Renewal Program replaces end-of-life airport assets, primarily MEP fire and security systems, vertical and horizontal transportation systems, building enclosure assemblies, below-grade utility systems, baggage systems, and passenger boarding bridges. This is a salaried position with a starting range of $210,392 and up DOE. Hours are M-F 8-5 unless otherwise requested.

- Leader in stakeholder engagement to identity, communicate, resolution and accomplishment their needs, while preserving the principles and criteria of the project scope, schedule and budget constraints.
- Client will provide a desktop computer.
- Developing and maintaining a high level of team morale through professionalism that reflects well on the project team, external stakeholders and Client/internal stakeholders.
- Management of project within budget and schedule constraints while maintaining all necessary scope elements.

Rohadfox Construction Management Services is searching for an experienced Asset Renewal Project Manager lll to assist our West LA client.
- Project Manager and Technical/Construction Leader with experience in an operating/active environment.
- Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- Relevant professional licensure and/or certification are strongly preferred. Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in the project design life cycle from Concept to Project Definition Book to Permit to Bulletins.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, and Design/Build.
- Must live within commuting distance of the airport
- Knowledge in design and construction contracting practices and methodologies.
- Experience with projects more than $50 million in value.
- Knowledge and experience in the project construction life cycle from Pre-Construction to estimating/buyout to phasing to implementation to Closeout.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Consultant MUST have a company-provided laptop computer. This is required for company business and to VPN into Client system when away from the office as necessary.
- Maybe required to work past regular work shift.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required.
- Ability to assemble KPI’s and decisions needed for Governance and presentation to others, including the executive staff.
- Cell phone provided by consultant is required.
- 15 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects.
- Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
