Ensure the Fire inspector startup requirements are aligned with phasing and OPC plan
Ensure RFI's are distributed to appropriate subs.
Tracks and Ensures the Day 1 Startup checklist is completed on NTP day

Identify chokepoints and risks in the proposed construction takt plan. Seek feedback from the Construction Manager and OSC Manager to develop corrective actions or alternative strategies to keep the construction plan and schedule on track. Insert Procedure. This enables the OSC team to adapt and maintain the construction schedule and duration.

Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s culture and guiding principles
The Digital Lead is responsible for setting up and updating all digital platforms for the project. The Technical Project Lead should seek input from consultants on technical issues identified through digital technology to address these problems. Develop Plan B solutions to mitigate risks and keep the project on schedule. Engage the OSC and Construction Manager in overseeing digital conflicts and Plan B scenarios, and ensure they communicate updates to subcontractors to ensure alignment with the revised plans.
Ensure 3rd party consultants are contracted with appropriate inspection type and frequency per the plan minimum or minimum JPI standard whichever is greater.
Communicates OSC support of wet weather mitigation pre-planning efforts and implementation
Utilize digital technology by reviewing technology information captures as directed to solve technical issues affecting the project
Maintain RFI urgency log daily and ensure consultants are working on correct RFI priorities.
Manage change order disputes.
Ensure the de-risking process is complete with all necessary RFI’s/ASI’s resolved in timely manner. (Maintain 30 days of clear runway without RFI delays)
The Taktical Control Lead will provide the Takt sequence and pod layout. Pre-construction meetings should be conducted with trades to gather input on the labor requirements for each trade during each phase to keep the project on schedule. Maintain regular communication with the Resource Lead to ensure that subcontractor labor is consistently available to meet project milestones. Maintain open communication with the Taktical Control Lead on OPC changes, updates and plan b's.
Track and resolve construction issues from field “tickets” in timely and complete manner
Change Order Template
Monitors dashboard daily for trends impacting the Plan, diagnose the root cause and directs OSC resource support and realignment on subcontractor performance both on completion and corrective items.
Ensure that the project turnover phasing and sequence will be approved by the jurisdiction and make any plan resequencing as necessary to accommodate AHJ requirements.
Coordinate with the Site Construction Manager to verify change order work is valid.
Trach and Ensure trade specific PreCon onsite meeting agendas to the Site Construction Managers to ensure Plan adherence.
Usher AHJ through 3rd party inspection adoption (BV or similar)
Develop a project-specific submittal log based on contracted subcontractors, project drawings, specifications, and clarifications. Subcontractors will provide the required documents for review. Consultants will be assigned to review these submittals in accordance with the project’s drawings and specifications. The Commercial Specialist will create and oversee the submittal log, ensuring all submittals are reviewed against the plans and specifications. The Specialist will upload submittals into Procore, assigning them to the appropriate consultants with set review timelines. Then, will ensure that consultants adhere to the standard response times specified in the contract. Submittals will either be approved or returned for revision and resubmission back to the subcontractor. Subcontractors may proceed with material procurement and fabrication only after receiving approval of their submittals.
Create and manage a project specific submittal log. Review and compare submittals, samples and shop drawings to specifications, clarifications and drawings. Upload and Track submittals, samples and shop drawings to Procore. Ensure submittals are reviewed within the contracted consultant response time. Assign appropriate consultants to each submittal. Review responses to submittals and ensure trade partner is aware of any comments.
Manage that RFI's are answered promptly and by correct consultants.
