The role involves leading advisory and design services for hydrogen projects across WSP’s sectors, developing hydrogen and decarbonisation solutions, writing technical and strategic reports, and delivering process‑engineering deliverables while ensuring client expectations for health and safety, quality, time and budget are met.
- Lead advisory and design services for hydrogen projects across WSP’s sectors and business units.
- Work on projects at all development stages: due diligence, LTA, owners engineer, feasibility, concept, FEED and detailed design.
- Develop hydrogen and decarbonisation solutions, including demand/supply profiles, funding applications, scenarios and roadmaps.
- Write technical and strategic reports for clients.
- Contribute to feasibility and advisory studies on hydrogen, heating and decarbonisation across multiple sectors.
- Deliver process engineering outputs such as calculations, specifications, datasheets, process drawings and simulations.
- Represent WSP in presentations, conferences and thought‑leadership publications.
- Mentor colleagues and support continuous professional development.
- Prepare proposals, bids and funding applications.

We look for candidates with a relevant engineering or science degree, progress toward chartered status, and experience in the hydrogen sector, especially infrastructure, heat, production and industrial decarbonisation. Strong IT proficiency, project engineering or management experience, and excellent client‑facing communication skills are also required.
