  • Participate in accident investigations and review meetings to determine and communicate root causes for future prevention
  • Conduct weekly Safety Orientations to new employees .
  • Complete train-the-trainer courses and provide on the job training to employees as requested in the areas of Aerial Lift, Forklift, etc.
  • Visit various jobsites, by the request of a manager or at random. Learn how to interact with field staff and leadership, identify various compliance and safety issues, and encourage hazard recognition to support the company to “0” injuries.
  • Respond as a resource of information to employee questions and issues regarding safety
  • Assist Safety Team in developing topics for Branch safety meetings and monthly safety talks

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Hyperscale projects
  • Comfortable in multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, construction emphasis preferred
  • BCSP Designation or other related designation/certification is required
  • Previous internship or work experience involving safety required
  • Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and able to quick learner to computer programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to gain trust and respect of employees and supervisors throughout all levels of the organization
