Supports the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel and performs other projects as assigned.
Assists with compliance efforts, including compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures.
Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporate functions and business areas in a wide range of legal matters, risk management, and corporate governance.
Works closely with clients, other in-house counsel, company management, and, in certain matters, outside counsel.
Conducts legal research and stays updated on changes in laws that may affect the Corporation.
Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contracts and other legal instruments to which the Corporation is a party and provides other legal support to the business teams. including the management of pre-litigation disputes.
