Anchor QEA is hiring a full‑time Environmental Scientist/Engineer in Syracuse, NY to support local and regional teams with data collection, management, analysis, contaminated media investigations and modeling. Candidates should have 3‑8 years of experience in site investigations and environmental data analysis, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ideal candidates hold a B.S. or M.S. in geology, environmental science, engineering, toxicology or a related field, possess 3‑8 years of professional experience, can work independently or in multidisciplinary teams, and have experience with contaminated sediments/soils, laboratory methods, CERCLA and RCRA regulations, and multi‑office projects. They should be proficient in MS Office, have strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and hold or be willing to obtain 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
