Monitor the basic functions of heat treatment machinery and auxiliary equipment, under guidance from more senior team members.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production deadlines are met, reporting any potential delays or issues promptly.
Frequently working around energized equipment with the risk of electrocution/scalding/burns/other etc.
Assist with loading and unloading parts into racks, barrels, and baskets for heat treating, cleaning, and electroplating.
Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
Perform all tasks in compliance with established safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Clean and remove grease from parts using Ransohoff machines and ensure parts are properly prepared for electroplating.
Use basic measuring equipment to ensure part dimensions and plating thicknesses are within required tolerances.
