

Produces HVAC, fire, security and building automation systems to optimize and protect buildings globally.
The primary responsibility is end‑to‑end presales engineering for Fire and Security opportunities in India across verticals such as infrastructure, industries, fit‑outs and key accounts. This includes handling techno‑commercial activities for ELV systems like fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address, parking management, structured cabling and network infrastructure, and participating in HOTO processes to obtain D&E and OPS approvals.
Daily tasks involve reviewing project inputs, initiating kick‑off calls, preparing designs and BOQs, identifying risks, engaging OEMs and subcontractors for solutions, analyzing proposals against benchmark costing, and creating optimized techno‑commercial cost sheets and compliance statements. The role also requires self‑QC, manager QC, timely submission of deliverables, SFDC updates, price negotiations, and alignment with KPIs such as quality, on‑time delivery, win rate and productivity.
The Fire & Security Business brings over a decade of extensive JCI/Tyco and third‑party system knowledge, delivering design, detailed engineering and implementation of fire detection and security solutions. The team offers both onsite and remote engineering support worldwide, adding significant value to client projects.
Candidates must hold a BE in Electrical, Electronics or Communications and possess at least six years of relevant ELV experience. Required expertise includes fire alarm, CCTV, access control, PAVA, intrusion detection, structured cabling and network switches, as well as presales and estimation experience on diverse Indian projects. Strong vendor networks, ability to develop complex costing sheets, quick learning, problem‑solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication are essential.
Preferred experience includes working with leading access‑control platforms (e.g., Software House, Lenel, HID, Suprema, Bosch, Honeywell), leading CCTV products (e.g., American Dynamics, Milestone, Genetic, Pelco, Axis), and fire alarm systems (Notifier, Simplex, EST). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio and Excel, as well as a collaborative team mindset, is highly valued.
