We are seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to cover North London and Berkshire, working Monday‑Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (40 hours per week). The role involves designing, installing and maintaining air‑conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings, directly impacting client comfort and efficiency.
Day‑to‑day duties include attending and completing scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, handling breakdowns, and performing installations or system replacements. You will troubleshoot all types of AC systems, produce quotations for remedial work, and work on splits, VRFs, AHUs, DX units and some central plant equipment, both independently and as part of a team.
All FGAS paperwork must be completed on site and logbooks updated in client premises. Participation in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota is required.
Essential qualifications are C&G 2079 Cat 1 NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and F‑Gas certification, together with a solid mechanical and electrical background. Knowledge of building fabric, basic fabric repairs, and health & safety obligations is required, as well as good communication, organisational skills, a UK driving licence and proficiency with IT packages such as Outlook and Word.
