  • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy
  • Repair and / or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
  • Installation of refrigerant piping
  • Field fabrication of duct as required by the project
  • Retrofit and installation of commercial HVAC equipment including RTU’S, split systems, VRF & VRV, WSHP’S, Air cooled & water-cooled chillers ranging up to 300 tons
  • Complete required electronic reports and documentation daily on a handheld device
  • Installation of low voltage wiring and basic controls
  • Installation of threaded gas piping
  • Installation of other HVAC systems including duct and electrical wiring
  • Operate company vehicle to complete projects within a specified territory

As an HVAC Service Project’s Installation Technician, you will work with our mechanical projects team to complete commercial mechanical equipment change out, retrofit and installation projects. Typical projects include installation, replacements and retrofits of HVAC equipment, sheet metal / ductwork, piping and other related materials and systems. Ability to travel out of town, as needed

  • EPA Universal certification
  • Ability to Braze & soft solder copper pipe for water and refrigeration piping systems
  • Must be able to work independently with or without supervision - as well as collaboratively as part of a team to complete tasks within designated timeframes
  • 3 or more years of experience with commercial HVAC equipment retrofit and installation projects
  • Ability to pass a full background screening, MVR, and drug screening
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with high and low voltage wiring of commercial HVAC equipment
  • Experience with water-cooled and chilled water systems
  • OSHA 10 certification (the company will provide if needed)
