Description

The Superintendent manages all job‑site functions for home construction while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include overseeing multiple homes from permit to closing, scheduling and supervising subcontractors, conducting homeowner walk‑throughs and inspections, and maintaining company construction and safety standards.

• Manage construction schedules to deliver quality homes on time and within budget.
• Schedule and evaluate subcontractors for each phase, ensuring compliance with codes and workmanship standards.
• Complete each home site from planning through occupancy, meeting all contract obligations.
• Inspect subcontractor work, halt non‑compliant work, and authorize payments after thorough inspection.
• Oversee customer experience, conduct homeowner orientations, provide progress communications, and address concerns.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and visually appealing worksite and community during construction.
• Manage post‑close warranty process, assess requests, schedule repairs, and ensure quality assurance.
• Follow up with homeowners to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with sales, warranty, and management teams to facilitate proactive issue resolution.
• Conduct business ethically to enhance customer goodwill and company profitability.

Requirements

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 2‑4 years of related experience, and the ability to manage the 13 Milestones of Construction, read construction documents, and understand building codes. Required skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, budgeting, proficiency with DRH construction apps, and the physical capability to perform job duties; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
