Warehouse Associate

Description

The role involves maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, controlling inventory through physical counts, keeping the warehouse in good condition, operating equipment such as forklifts, loading and logging materials onto trucks, preparing jobs and materials for crews, cleaning trucks, delivering material and transporting employees to job sites, and performing other assigned duties.

• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations per policies and procedures.
• Conduct physical inventory counts to control stock levels.
• Plan and implement warehouse layout designs; inspect equipment; issue work orders for repairs and replacements.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to place products and materials correctly.
• Load, log, and note returned materials onto trucks.
• Prepare jobs and materials for crew use.
• Clean trucks inside and out.
• Deliver materials and transport employees to job sites.
• Follow safe warehouse practices.
• Deliver products between offices daily.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, be able to lift 50 lb regularly, know safe warehouse practices, be willing to deliver products daily, have forklift experience, and preferably be familiar with home‑remodeling products or construction materials.
