Review scope of supply definition and project specifications, develop equipment selection and sizing, and prepare cost estimates and technical/commercial proposals.
Develop application guidelines, technical presentations and proposal templates to assist sales, marketing and application teams
Participate in product development / packaging improvements to provide more cost-effective products.
Position may require Domestic and international travel to support customer meetings.
Interface with all operational departments within the company.
Evaluate the design and performance of the proposed equipment; ensure deliverability and reliability of suppliers to meet Customer’s specifications and timetable.
The Applications Engineer is responsible for providing conceptual and front-end engineering as required, estimating, proposal development and technical support for power generation projects within the USA & International locations.
Maintain customer relationships; participate in client clarification meetings as required.
Maintain knowledge of industry and company standards applicable to the equipment being offered.

Able to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering from a four-year university; and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Able to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and action wherever appropriate.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Knowledge of generators, switchgear, load sharing or engine controls is required
Able to solve problems and communicate persuasively. Effective verbal, written and presentation skills.
Computer proficiency is required. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
Previous Customer facing experience preferred
