Ensure contractors and suppliers are complying with the planning permission and lead the discharge of the planning conditions with the LPA
Optimise land requirements and review land agreements such as option and lease agreements
Produce regular portfolio reports for internal reporting and decision making
Manage the developers to drive forwards the development life cycle and ensure best practice project fundamentals are achieved
Build and maintain relationships with landowners, DSOs, TSOs, planning consultants and Local Planning Authorities (LPA)
Recommending acquisition opportunities to the UK Business Development and Leadership Teams
Appraise project rights of acquisition opportunities working closely with the Business Development Team
Oversee development activities from site origination to ready to build status through existing Development Service Agreements
Coordinate internal teams such as Corporate, Engineering, Financial and Legal to ensure successful and efficient development of projects
Review connection offers and ensure DSO / TSO milestones and requirements are satisfied to retain validity of connection agreement
Continue to support Atlantica Project Manager during the pre-construction and construction phases to retain land, grid, planning project rights
Conduct initial feasibility assessments across land, grid and planning to maximise project viability and economic returns
Identifying projects with good fundamentals and highlighting key risks, as well as potential mitigation measures
Oversee the planning process alongside the developer and planning consultants to maximise consenting success and minimise onerous conditions
Track project milestones, programmes, budgets and risk logs to ensure visibility and control of development activities
Following achievement of ready to build status, ensure smooth transition and handover to the internal procurement and construction teams
Lead the technical internal and external due diligence phase and provide technical inputs as part of the investment appraisal process

Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, project management or a related field
5+ years in experience in renewable energy sector ideally in wind, solar PV and BESS projects
Experience with landowners, DSOs, TSOs and LPAs in the UK
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with Development Services Agreements, M&A processes and construction requirements
Full UK Driving License
Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills across diverse range of stakeholders
