Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and building operators to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Prepare commissioning reports and contribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes.
Assist with the review of technical documentation (submittals, O&M manuals, shop drawings).
Conduct on-site inspections, collect data, document observations, and prepare reports.
Support the start-up of HVAC, plumbing, control systems, and other building systems.
Use measurement tools (flow meters, temperature probes, data loggers, etc.) for field testing.
Participate in commissioning (Cx) activities: system verification, functional testing, performance validation.
Review plans, specifications, and sequences of operation (SOO) to ensure compliance of mechanical and control systems.

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of:
Bilingual English/French (spoken and written) – required to communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants across the Ottawa–Gatineau region.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with commissioning software/tools is an asset.
Education in building mechanical systems or a related field (mechanical engineering technology, building engineering, mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, etc.).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Ottawa–Gatineau region.
Professional, reliable, and solution-oriented attitude.
HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
Eligibility to work in Canada.

Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Any internship or work experience in HVAC, commissioning, controls, or building mechanical systems is an asset.
