Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to understand the project scope(s).
Coordinate with the estimating team to ensure each project is properly scoped and coordinated among all trades.
Prepare for bid days by attending review meetings, reviewing proposals and coordinating with subcontractors/vendors
Regularly meet with management to review estimating/project management progress and to review the estimating calendar.

Identify project labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, written specifications and related documents.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of services and pricing structure provided by upper management.
Evaluate subcontractor/vendor bids to bid documents and plans to ensure that the full scope of work was considered.
Manage bid pricing from vendors and prepare detailed cost analysis.
Coordinate with project management the preparation of a detailed scope(s) of work.
Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors, clients, and subcontractors.
Coordinate the receipt of bid documents and the submission of bid proposals with the project/estimating team.
Assist operations and purchasing departments with submittals, change orders and proposal
Calculate costs of subcontract scope(s), general conditions, and materials.
