Billing Engineer

We are hiring a Billing Engineer (Electrical) to oversee commercial & billing aspects of electrical works across our projects. You will be responsible for BOQ interpretation, RA billing, contractor bill verification, material reconciliation, and progress reporting — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely clearances.

• Coordinate with site execution teams, clients & accounts for bill approvals
• Conduct material consumption tracking & reconciliation vs. theoretical usage
• Provide monthly reports on billing progress, cost utilization & variances
• Verify contractor/sub-contractor bills with technical and financial accuracy
• Prepare and submit RA/Progress bills aligned with site execution
• Conduct site inspections for measurement validation
• Identify extra / non-schedule items and prepare competitive rate analysis
• Perform quantity take-offs by analyzing electrical drawings & BOQs
• Maintain complete billing documentation: measurement sheets, logs & reports

Experience Level: 2–5 years

• Strong documentation, tracking, and coordination abilities
• Minimum 2 years experience in billing for electrical works
• Familiarity with cost control & estimation practices
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Strong understanding of BOQ, RA Bills & construction billing standards
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and measurement/billing software
• Ability to work under deadlines with attention to detail
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings & technical specs
• Hands-on experience with site measurement & audits
• Knowledge of material standards & IS codes
