Interns will be immersed in the full design process, from researching commercially available equipment to maintaining project design notebooks and preparing permanent record documentation. Coordination with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients is a key part of the experience, as is tracking design decisions and ensuring project documents are accurate before final checks.
Candidates must have completed at least two years toward a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Prior internship experience in building‑design consulting is preferred, and applicants should have exposure to CAD or BIM tools, be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, and demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. IMEG is offering a Summer 2026 internship for Electrical Engineering students in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Over a 10‑ to 12‑week period, interns will work on real-world projects, supporting the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems across various building types.
