Director of Operations

Description

• Empower Projects: Partner with project managers to align staffing, tools, and resources with deadlines and priorities.
• Support People: Play a key role in onboarding, training, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring every team member has what they need to succeed.
• Improve Systems: Introduce and refine workflows, tools, and technologies that make teams more effective.
• Oversee Facilities & Admin: Manage office operations, vendor relationships, and workspace planning that support a productive culture.
• Lead Operations: Ensure efficiency and consistency across day-to-day business functions while scaling processes for future growth.
• Support Leadership: Provide operational insight, prepare executive materials, and support board- level initiatives.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Deltek VantagePoint, or similar ERP/PM platforms.
• A proven track record of improving systems, scaling operations, and driving impact.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across diverse teams.
• 8–12 years of experience in operations, project management, or business management. Experience in professional services; AEC industry background is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Architecture, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
