Work under a Water Resources Team Leader in the development of Water Resources design projects for the FDOT, FEMA, Water Management Districts, FDEP, and local municipalities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in managing the workload of design staff including other Engineers, EIT’s, and technical staff.
Floodplain Management, Studies and Mapping
Assist in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Oversee and manage multiple Water Resources projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
Perform flood risk education and planning, flood infrastructure planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure.
Work closely with the other design staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects that contribute to the growth and safety of Florida communities.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize any adverse impacts on project outcomes.
Monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and identify opportunities to optimize project efficiency and profitability.
Review water resources designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency.
Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Water Resources project delivery
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
Technical experience with ICPR4 (Storm wise) and ArcGIS
Proven track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completion
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
Must be able to travel to various project sites
Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
Professional Engineering (PE) License in the state of Florida
Singhofen Halff has conducted formal technical training programs for more than 30 years.
Civil Engineering Project Management experience in the Water Resources industry required
Proven business development experience
Proficient in project management, administration, and supervision of technical staff
Ability to work in teams and multi-task
Requires technical experience and/or familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water resources planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure
