Assist passengers, including those requiring accessibility support, within safe limits
Communicate clearly with dispatch and team members via radio
Complete all paperwork, handovers, and vehicle checks with attention to detail
Provide professional, courteous, and patient customer service
Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies
Maintain accurate manifests, ride logs, and any special-assistance notes
Operate a 14-passenger shuttle van safely and confidently
Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects
Follow assigned schedules, adapting calmly to delays when needed

Positive attitude, patience, and excellent customer service skills
Successful criminal background check
Strong attention to detail for inspections and record keeping
Previous shuttle-driving experience
Clean driver’s abstract
Valid Class 4 driver’s license (a class 1 or 2 license will also be considered)
Stay composed and professional in stressful or emergency situations
Punctual, reliable, and consistent attendance
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Familiarity with Edmonton and University of Alberta campus routes
Strong verbal communication and radio-communication skills
