  • Create programs for the PLC in demo cases for key brands with connection to HMI, VFD, and remote devices.
  • Create prototypes and proof of concepts for customer applications.
  • Work on VFD programming projects to develop procedures for common parameter programming, quick start, PID, and presets.
  • Participate in joint sales calls.
  • Make Center of Excellence (COE) updates to the Scada hardware and software, and any obsoleted devices.
  • Create programs for the HMI’s in demo cases.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create wiring schematics and ethernet architecture layouts to be used in demos.
  • Adhere to all safety policies.

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
  • Valid Driver's License. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time with overnight stays.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to effectively establish relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Vision requirements for driving include:
  • Possess comprehensive computer skills with the aptitude to learn new software programs.
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university studying Electrical Engineering or related coursework.
  • Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
  • Occasionally climbing or balancing needed. Often standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger or handle, and reaching with hands and arms needed. Most of the time talking or hearing needed.
  • Ability to work accurately under time constraints and against deadlines.
  • Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).
