A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or similar, will be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate currently works in the construction industry as a Contracts Administrator with 3+ year’s experience in providing administrative support and coordination to assist the Project Manager manage all aspects of commercial building projects to a high standard achieving safe construction, excellent quality and profitable return.
- Experience working on commercial construction projects valued between $10m and $30m.
- Computer skills using programs such as MS Project, and MS Office Suite and a willingness to learn specific cost control and estimating software programs.
- The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Minimum of 3 Years on-site project and contracts administration experience within the construction industry. Ideally with a head contractor.
- Professionalism, respect and integrity toward your clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff with an ability to work and communicate with different personality types.
- Demonstrating the culture of safety by actions and behaviours and participate in relevant meetings.
- Experience in preparing and managing contract variations, claims, and extension of time applications
- The ability to learn and adopt good operational risk management practices for the project.
