Ensures employees are complying with manufacturing process documentation
Ensures that all documentation is being filled out and distributed properly
Maintains schedules adherence and works with management on proper staffing levels to meet schedules
Answers employee questions and directs them regarding work flow, equipment, production processes and procedures
Works independently or with others to determine, troubleshoot and solve problems
Advises production manager of process improvement ideas, production issues, maintenance items, safety matters, and other information
Performs positions in the focus factory as needed including production paperwork, data entry, ability to read blueprints if called for, operate forklift, hoists and lifts
Maintains proper quality standards on all products being produced on shift
Ensures employees maintain and practice proper safety requirements including good housekeeping
Schedules all direct labor personnel on daily work activities
Distributes supplies, takes inventory, and initiates reorder as needed
Follows acceptable employee relation practices and company policies
