The Audio Visual Project Assistant role supports the project team by delivering day‑to‑day project management and general administrative assistance. This position serves as a liaison for information flow, helps keep project documentation current, and ensures that financial and scheduling processes run smoothly.
Key duties include recapping and tracking Potential Change Orders, pricing material vouchers, and managing all Request for Information submissions. The assistant also monitors certified payroll for Rosendin and its subcontractors, completes required compliance forms, and updates project schedules using Microsoft Projects or SureTrack. Additional responsibilities involve preparing monthly billing packages, maintaining material flow sheets, subcontract and change‑order logs, and obtaining vendor quotes for light material ordering.
Success in this role requires the ability to read blueprints and use the Biddle Book for material pricing, as well as a solid grasp of project management procedures and scheduling software. Strong computer, filing, and 10‑key skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle, SharePoint, and SureTrack is preferred. Candidates must be detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to handle confidential information with discretion while communicating effectively in both written and oral formats.
A minimum of an associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or a related field is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates should have 1–2 years of project management support experience, ideally within a construction environment, and must demonstrate self‑motivation, proactivity, and strong teamwork abilities.
The position involves a standard indoor work environment with extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lb. No travel is required, and the role complies with ADA accommodations and other applicable laws to ensure an inclusive workplace.

Pay ranges from $24.00 to $36.00 hourly, varying by location, experience, skills, and education.
