Post‑contract experience is required. Undertake quantity take‑offs for electrical, fire‑fighting, plumbing, and HVAC works using applicable standards. Use software tools such as CostX and AutoCAD to summarize quantities, transfer data into BOQs or cost plans, and perform bulk checks.

Draft or validate Bills of Quantities, ensuring bulk checks are carried out. Support cost estimation by identifying basic material and labour rates and understanding rate analysis for standard work items.

Have a basic understanding of the tendering process and related documentation. Prepare interim payment recommendations, maintain cost‑control documentation, and manage change‑control processes. Contribute to cost reporting, cash‑flow forecasting, variation valuation, risk‑allowance tracking, and final‑account preparation.
