Senior Procurement Manager - Category Management

Description

• Lead and coach a talented team managing a £500m+ annual spend across UK Logistics, Facilities, Estates, and General Services.
• Spearhead our Fleet Management strategy for cars and vans—enhancing safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Shape and deliver our Category Management strategy and governance across Tarmac.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to unlock value, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment with the wider CRH global procurement framework.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a passion for developing talent.
• Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving excellence, with the confidence to make decisions in complex environments.
• CIPS qualification and a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s desirable).
• A track record in category management or strategic procurement, ideally in engineering, fleet, or construction sectors.
