Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across the rail industry.
Support the identification of planning issues / opportunities. Review planning risks and monitor, updating accordingly.
Develop the appropriate quality plan / schedule in line with the project scheduling principles and processes.
Review and update the Programme/Project work breakdown structure, utilising the templates to deliver the project objectives and provide effective performance measurement and reporting.
Work with cutting-edge tools, including an integrated cloud-based Primavera solution.
Interrogate contractor's statement of progress for schedule adherence.
Interact and support the effective information sharing / collection with all the stakeholders in an appropriate manner.
Identify key resource requirements and monitor that these are properly booked and availability is maintained.
Report actual performance and variance against plan and forecast outcomes. Highlight key milestone and critical path issues to members of the team, providing an assessment of the impact of such issues and recommend solutions to correct the position.
Interact and become a key member of the integrated planning team, working alongside the project delivery team, providing a quality service to support the effective delivery of the programme.
Monitor and audit plans. Monitor planning processes so that they comply with TRU/Network Rail procedure requirements.
Monitor and progress the plan / schedule and make changes as required, in line with Change Control and baseline management processes. Develop recovery schedules and contingency plans in order to meet changed objectives as necessary.
Influence and innovate planning processes for future programmes.
Support the collaborative environment within the programme, working as one team.
