  • Lead on-site inductions and WHS training programs.
  • Ensure ISO and WHS compliance across all workforce management practices.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, HR, and finance teams to align workforce strategies with safety and business goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with site managers, supervisors, and workers to promote and enforce safety policies.
  • This role is integral in supporting the growth of the business, providing stakeholders with clarity and assurance regarding all HSE matters.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-compliance issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee workforce allocations across multiple construction sites in Sydney, ensuring compliance with WHS regulations and safety best practices.
  • Develop and implement workplace health and safety programs to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Perform site inspections and audits to identify hazards, ensure compliance, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and mentor the workforce management team, ensuring a strong focus on safety leadership and best practices.
  • Managing a small team, this is a fantastic opportunity to manage HSE across multiple sites, working closely with various stakeholders to provide guidance on site specific requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations, labour laws, and industry standards.

  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, industry regulations, and risk management principles.
  • Strong pipeline of projects
  • Experience in a similar role ideally within labour hire, construction, civil engineering, or related industries
  • Experience establishing and maintain good working relationship at all levels
  • Experience managing large teams, either directly or indirectly
  • Experience with Procore Construction Management System a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
  • CertIV in Health and Safety, or equivalent
  • Visible and approachable senior management team
