Street Lighting Electrician

Description

• You'll ensure members of the public are kept informed of works and are not put in danger due to works being undertaken
• You'll undertake standby and call-out duties
• You'll collect CMS information and relay back
• You'll conduct vehicle checks are undertaken and the vehicle is kept clean & tidy
• You'll ensure certificates are logged in a timely manner and updated inventory information on assets using tablets
• You'll work on our Minor Works Project in Central Bedfordshire and surrounding areas
• You'll install replacement electrical equipment and lanterns
• You'll carry out routine and reactive maintenance on highway electrical assets

Requirements

• G39 & 214 Safe isolation
• 2391/HESA 714 Inspection and Testing
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or HESA equivalent 403
• 3021.1 Traffic Management
• HEA NVQ Level 3 Highways Electrician
• MEWP category 1b
• ECS Test
• Part 1 / Level 2 Electrical Qualification or equivalent
• First Aid at Work
• Manual Handling
• Part 2 / Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent
