Chief Estimator

Description

We’re hiring a Chief Estimator to lead concrete and masonry estimating for a privately owned general contractor. This role owns bid strategy, develops the estimating team, and drives profitable wins.

• Review proposals for scope, accuracy, and margin
• Manage vendor relationships and track market pricing
• Lead and mentor the estimating team
• Standardize estimating processes and improve workflows
• Own estimates from plan review through final submission
• Partner with operations and leadership on bid strategy
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost builds using Bluebeam

Requirements

• 10+ years in concrete and/or masonry estimating
• Strong plan reading and blueprint interpretation
• Solid understanding of construction methods and pricing
• Proven estimating team leadership
• High proficiency with Bluebeam
