Buildings Lead/Project Manager

Lead and manage multi-discipline teams for buildings projects in the commercial, municipal, and industrial sectors. Experience with First Nations projects is an asset.
Engaging in a collaborative work environment working with multi-discipline project teams, across disciplines and offices
Acting as the primary contact for all project-related client communications
Managing existing clients and subconsultants, and developing new clients
Advancing projects through the concept, design, and construction phases
Providing a leadership role in the preparation of concepts, designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents, as well as participating in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and inspection
Actively engaging in business development and leading & preparing technical and financial proposals as well as marketing material
Leading a multi-disciplinary project team to undertake major building projects
Mentoring and coaching project teams made up of engineers, technologists, and administrative support
Delivering projects on budget and within identified schedules

Possess a valid class 5 driver's license

Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines and schedules
7+ years of progressive Engineering experience within the Buildings sector
Proven business development experience
Experience in working with both private and public sector clients and processes
Prior knowledge and experience with First Nations projects
